Sew Be It Girl
Up and coming fashion designer and Toronto talent Julia Thompson presented her first official launch of her line, “Sew Be It Girl” at the trendy “Camera Bar” in the art district of Queen West in Toronto.
Inspired by designers such as Alexander Wang and Marc Jacobs, Julia, who has been designing and sewing since she was five showed everyone in attendance who she was through her pieces.
Girly, yet feminine, playful, yet sophisticated, all the pieces spoke to the true talent of this designer who is doing more before the age of 18 than most people do in 30 years.
Her line consisted of skirts, shorts, feminine dresses and playful pieces, which spoke to her vision as a designer and expressed the talent of this delightful, budding young designer.
Hoping to show in Toronto Fashion Week before she turns 18 and become an internationally acclaimed designer, I would said that Julia Thompson is off to a wonderful start and will have unimaginable amounts of success.
