Stirling Room 2 Year Anniversary

Located in the acclaimed Distillery District known for its brick-lined streets and Victorian Industrial Architecture, the upscale “Stirling Room” lounge celebrated its 2 Year Anniversary recently with an event that truly lived up to the level of sophistication that  Stirling Room prides itself on as a venue.

Stirling Room owner Albert Rishes has been successful in bringing the sought-after elegant lounge experience to the Distillery District. Feeling as though it is a fixture in the community, it is hard to believe it has only been there for two years. Open weekdays and weekends, Stirling Room provides guests with a way to unwind after a long work day or a long work week with great drinks, great conversations, and great music showcased by the best DJs Toronto has to offer.

“I am very happy to not only celebrate Stirling Room’s 2 years of success but its future as well. There have been a lot of great memories here and more to be made!” says Rishes.

This classic address boasts exposed brick walls, large wood beams, original plank flooring and beautiful onyx bars as a backdrop to a sensual Victorian Gothic era design. The lower level houses the building’s original kiln and five catacombs that in future, will be converted into dining rooms.

To coincide with their anniversary, Stirling Room was also launching their new website www.StirlingRoom.com and we had the opportunity to go to a “Private Invitation” event on July 19th which featured not only complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, but beer tasting, cigar rolling, stilt walkers, Cirque du Soleil performers and lives music featuring the talented DJ Furious George.

Stirling Room was not only one of the most beautiful lounges I have ever been to, but also it provides each guest with a feeling that they and their experience are very important, and every in attendance was made to feel like a VIP. It was truly a stunning venue, a great event, and a great evening.
