Curlers Make Me Hurl..er
"But she's reading a fashion magazine so it's okay"
This was sent to me on twitter from one of my followers, and it was one of the only things I have re-tweeted in a long time.
I howled.
And the reason being was because of the quote she put it with:
“But she’s reading a fashion magazine so it’s okay”
Frankly, no.
It is not.
It is not okay that you’ve left the house in “Prep” mode.
I salute her for taking pride in her appearance and wanting a head full of gorgeous well done hair.
BUT
You do that in the privacy of a salon, or your own home.
NOT on the metro.
NOT with other people around you.
NOT like this.
This was a disaster, and rightfully so.
It looks like a bunch of plastic butterflies clung to her head and are not letting go.
What could have been an elegant and classy woman has now subjected herself to looking like the stereotype of a trailer park community.
Here’s a bit of advice:
Wake up earlier and get this done before you leave the house.
Otherwise, you might as well not try at all.
